Tigard donut has authentic kolaches! I never realized kolaches were a southern food until I moved away from Texas. You need to preorder your kolaches 24 hours in advance to ensure they won't be sold out. I purchased a box on my husband's birthday, along with sprinkled donuts for the kids. Everything was warm, fresh and delicious!
The sweetest people! Everything is handmade and organic! The donuts had just the right balance. Weren't too bready and weren't too heavy. Nice and palatable. I'm glad I don't live nearby because I would come everyday and get fat! lol The prices are really good too. Great atmosphere. Will totally stop by again in the future when I'm in the area
Went to the local donut shop. It was fantastic. The apple fritters are fantastic. Super fresh not a greasy taste at all. The blueberries are fantastic. Really, the whole place was just a nice welcoming experience. The owner was there really nice super clean in the shop. I'll definitely recommend it.
I usually don't like donuts these are perfect though. My family has bought for staff for years, such a great treat. Really high quality. Will be coming again!
Stopped for a treat and was pleased by the delicious donuts. The maple bar was really good as was the buttermilk donut. Service was very friendly and the store was clean. Give them a try when you are hankering for a great donut.

This place is absolutely fabulous! The donuts are delicious and the owners are so sweet and nice! I work in the area and I go there every morning, she even gave me and my workers a whole box of free donuts! Literally so nice! The donuts are such good quality as well! 10/10 recommend this place!
As many before us have said, the owners are very sweet! We ordered: an apple, fritter, a blueberry cake, donut, a maple bar, and a chocolate bar for our travels to Astoria. They were all very nice donuts, but the stand out favorite was the blueberry cake doughnut! It was one of the best we've ever had. The apple fritter was also quite good. We will come back again next time we are in town.
Ever since moving into the area about a year ago, I've been neglecting in looking for a partner to go with my usually cup of coffee every morning. I finally mustered enough motivation to go out and look for that perfect partner; what better than pairing up a donut to go with my cup of joe. I did a search around the area and came across Tigard Donut. Tigard Donut is nestled in a small and quiet shopping area. From 99 west you need to cross the median from the island which was not too bad since I came here at 8am on a Saturday morning. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a smile and good morning by the owner. Seemed like I may have been one of the firsts to arrive which was a good thing as I've heard the donuts in this place usually sell out. I went with their dozen special in where you get to choose from color-tagged items. I decided to mix it up and ended with what you see in my photo. When I got home I decided to warm up the pallets with donut hole #13 (bakers dozen) which was waiting for me to pluck right out of the box. Yummy! Nice, wholesome and not airy like Krispy Kreme. Perfect texture. The dozen belonged to my son which about 5 minutes later got a loud compliment from upstairs- These are better than Roger's! (Our old donut shop back in CA). Now for my personal review. The ultimate test had to lie with the Apple fritter. I found that fritters tend to be dry on the inside and too hard on the outer. The one from here is an exception. Talk about the perfect fritter; crunchy outer shell, diving into a sweet layer of glaze, into a soft and fluffy tasteful inner swimming in bits of cinnamon apple bits heaven. Not heavy or overly sweet- everything is just right!! Perfect Fritter!! I finally found the perfect pairing with my cup of joe! I have still to delve into the cake donuts and a warm, pig in a blanket I added to my order but I'm pretty sure those will be delicious as well. I'm glad to be able to support a locally owned family business and I will be back again for more.
